HOLLOW
...amazing song. Really. Especially live ![]()
Album: STACKED RUBBISH
Arists: the GazettE
It won the fan's choice for best song of the year in the Jrock Choice Awards 2007!

Album: STACKED RUBBISH
This is the type of stereotypical-sounding Jrock song that I usually HATE--but there's something about Ruki's voice and Ruki's lyrics that just make the song lovely.

woowoot! my newest love in music ; ;:
the GazettE!
They always seem like they're just having so much fun doing what they do and being with each other^^. It makes the music more personable...
Although the head-banging occasionally (meaning pretty much always) is a little too much, and Ruki's constant butchering of the English language is kind of embarrassing to listen to.
**ANYWAY**: here's Filth in the beauty, one of my favorite the GazettE songs. Huzzah.
Lookit! It's Tatsurou talking to himself... haha. Two Tatsurou (would there be an s there? or would it be like the word deer... where there's no s regardless of number... unless you're Gackt... but that's Dears with an a).

This is the album version. Not sure if there's a difference (there is a MAJOR difference for Screen).

HOLY SHIT!
I love this band to bits.
My friend let me hear this song on the way to band camp over the summer... I hadn't really liked th band too much before I heard this song, but dang!
Thanks, friend (you know who you are XD) for introducing me to these guys AND The GazettE in one bus ride! (and MUCC, but I'll have a little ranting/uploading/fangirling spree for them later)
Yes. That picture is Reita.
Kissing ass.
Literally.

Ummm... I'm not too crazy about the name of this song (first excrement and such and now this?), but it's one of my favorites by the GazettE.
Album: NIL
Aritst: the GazettE
This song is so sad~ ; ; It's about a girl that was captured, tortured, raped, and finally killed...
Kai, their drummer, actually cried during a live performance of this song

I didn't make that neato Ruki&Panda macro thing btw.
It's from an LJ... can't remember which... ><
wahwahweewah! This live is sooo hot @_@
Ruki and his little hip-thrusty-thing! *drool*
@pic: look! Ruki and Isshi! at some PSC-tour-collaboration-thing.

I've always pretty much hated these guys... I heard the song "Reila," and was really turned off...
My friend introduced me to this song at band camp and while the name kinda' is a put-off, the track itself kicks ASS...
...and kinda' reminds me of Daikenai... from DDR... just because they're both all DFADkldAFDDEE!!o_O!!1zomFg and rapping at the same time.

Once again... not great audio quality... but... >_>

OMG.
IT'S OVER!
YES!
...unless someone wants the bonus tracks ; ;
Album: Gauze
It seems that I got a lot more of a response when I posted Kagrra,'s album, San... sooo... I'll probably go back to doing more Kagrra, once Gauze is done.
Album: Gauze
My favorite song off the album!! ![]()
And the outfits!!
!! So pretty--and white o.o.
BTW! If anyone wants the SINGLE version of anything off of the Gauze (all caps?) album, just email me...
No album!
! It's live!!
muwahaha.
Kinda' bad audio quality, BUT, if you're interested in what Isshi's mind-blowing vocals sound like live:
then here ya' go.
Anyone up for Boufura live?? Hm?
And for your picture, you get Shin--being a nerd. Cuz he's my favorite >
HE'S the one that, during the Boufura live, wears his traditional-whatsit clothing (name anyone? XD... it's what he usually wears on stage... nothing special). And Akiya decides to wear something that resembles what the losers at my school rip off of Hot Topic racks and wear as "clothes."

And here starts the album Gauze, of Dir en grey ![]()
I've gotten new friend requests recently!!
This calls for: HAADO GEI!! Huu~~uu!
(see above picture)
I'd assume that people thought, as the title implies, that I'm like dead or something... seeing as I'm not very consistent with posting. There was like a month-and-a-half break between the two halves of Kaggra,'s San.
But I promise, I shall try to do one like every 1-3 days?
Once I start to run out of room, I'll make an MP3 list or something and peeps can request, I guess. I'll have to start deleting more common songs such as "The Final," "Child Prey," and parts of six ugly :/
I'm not real big into the Kagrra, fandom. I just ♥ San to DEATH. And Urei ~miyako mix~. My San favorites (because everyone's just DYING to know):
~Meguru at #1
~Murakumo is a clooose 2nd
~et numero trois est: Oni wo Awaremu Uta
(if you don't have Murakumo: grraaab it real quick down below... it has such a eerily beautiful sound to it, with lots and lots of traditional word-play, music, and melodies to boot~~ I could definately see it making a real good movie trailer theme-song-thing >_>)
OMFG IT'S KYO POTTER! Me and my buddy drew that on the bus during marching band last summer. Miyavi is the headmaster... and Gackt--IS NAKED. More of those later.
A song of of Dir en grey's latest album--THE MARROW OF A BONE~~ I adore it^^. My favorite part is at the end where he sings "da~~re mo~" all sad and broken-like. Very good emotional play throughout this whole song. It really sounds like his voice is about to crack from like, tears, during the chorus ; ;. *cheer Kyo*
This has to be my favorite song off the album. I actually do prefer Ryoujoku no Ame over this, but I don't really like the album version as much as the single ><
Clever Sleazoid, though, I can tolerate either way.
I've heard of a lot of fans giving up on the band after this past album. If you're thinking about doing the same--just keep with it for one more album!! I promise everyone that the sudden influx of... shouting and f-words was a result of being around so many different American bands that are like that during the FVT. From what I can gather from interviews, it had a short little burst-impact on them...
!
I've been listening to "Namamekashiki Ansoku, Tomadoi ni Hohoemi" while writing this, and I love it as well.
So... "The Pledge," "Namamekashiki...," and finally: good ol' Ryoujoku (am I the only one that found the nosebleed in that PV incredibly sexy? I dunno'... I'm just odd)
Album: San
YES!
Last one.
Look at Isshi! He's happy that it's over. Uploading music is monotonous.
Isn't it, Isshi?
See.
He totally agrees.

I found this song recently when I had to stay home from school 3 days straight.
It's most likely the prettiest song I've ever heard in my life.
![]()
I really like Kagrra because they keep a traditional eastern sound integrated into their modern music. They used to have a more "traditional" appearance, as well... but that's changed as of the past... 2 years?
Anyway, I'll probably be posting all of their album, San here soon. It won't be in order, though, so here's the track listing as it comes on the packaging:
1. 斑雲 - Murakumo
2. 幻影の貌~燦remix~ - Gen'ei no Katachi ~ San Remix
3. 卡 - Ibitsu
4. 鬼を憐れむ謳 - Oni o Awaremu Uta
5. 皐月 - Satsuki
6. 孑孒 - Boufura
7. 憶~燦remix~ - Omou ~ San Remix
8. 廻 - Meguru
9. 誘いの樹海 - Izanai no Jukai
10. 秘灮 - Himitsu
11. 沙羅双樹の子護唄~燦remix~ - Sarasouju no Komoriuta ~ San Remix
12. 在りし日の微傷 - Arishi Hi no Bishou
Ima' probably be posting a Diru album here soon.
Gauze or Withering.... I can't decide. I'm on break for the next 8 days and might get it up then... no promises, though.
Album: ???
Artist: Gackt
It was used for a Gundam movie... very catchy.
Album: Dialogue Symphonie
Artist: Moi dix Mois
Mana starts this song out with a soft orchestral feature that gradually moves into a rather busy harpshicord melody (typical of Mana). And THEN enters the first real line of the song... and Juka's voice is absolutely flawless. I really like how this song builds and then dies down to end~ The chorus is to die for... >=P
Album: ???
Artist: Déspairs Ray
I've only heard this song once, and.. it was ok. I'm just trying to add some variety here~
Album: Withering to Death (also single)
Artist: Dir en grey
Saku is an aquired taste... I don't think that a lot of people listen to it for the first time and think: "wow, what a great song" (yeah right). The chorus is great (my favorite part of songs is the chorus, in case you couldn't tell), and everything surrounding that is a lot of screaming and guitar riffs. These guys are sounding less and less like their old selves every day...
Album: none (single)
Artist: Malice Mizer
Beast of Blood was produced after Malice Mizer's drummer, Kami, had died and Gackt had left the band. Gackt was replaced with a new singer--Klaha. A lot of people say that his voice better fits the genre Mana had been aiming for when he first started the band. BoB was by far the most popular song Malice Mizer came out with once they got their new, and last singer. A MUST for this band.
Album: Vulgar
Artist: Dir en grey
The song really reminds me of the six ugly album... lots of screaming and really raw electric guitar sounds. o_O Shokubeni is really thrashy, but has a surpsingly calm chorus... it's one of my little sister's favorites~
Album: none (single)
Artist: Dir en grey
Toshiya, Kaoru, and Die do some real nice background singing/shouting in this--I gotta' give them credit for that... XP
Child Prey is really catchy and really high-energy--overall lots of fun to listen to~
The PV for this features all of the members in spaceship-thingies zoomin' around and shooting stuff and screaming... and then they're some rats, but whatever.
ENJOY
Album: Withering to Death
Band: Dir en grey
The beginning of Dir en grey's incredibly American sound. That's all I have to say.
Album: Macabre
Artist: Dir en grey
It's like.. techno and grunge at the same time!!
There is a very funny clip of this song live... Toshiya licks Kyo's face. =O
From here, down to byo' 'shin is Dir en grey's really angry mini-album, six ugly. It's my next-favorite album of Diru's next to Gauze and it features A LOT of screaming... so if you prefer the style of Malice Mizer, the band posted below, turn back now...
MR. NEWSMAN:
The best song on this CD. Period.
Dir en grey manages to stick to the style of the entire album without using screaming THE WHOLE TIME. It's high-energy and really kinda' calm at the same time... highly recommended.
The beginning of this one is... well.. ugly--but pretty funny. It really wows me to hear Kyo do this live. Ugly is pretty heavy, repeats a lot of things, and has a minute-long drum feature in the middle of it (it was written by Shinya).
This one was written by Kyo. It's kinda' repetative and screamy... and it's not one of my favorites. But Kyo fans, go for it.
The way Kyo manages to sing so fast in the beginning of this song amazes me! umbrella is full of energy and is really fun to watch live. The chorus in this one is in English... but can you figure out what it says? >_>;
Kyo raps in the beginning of this song!! It's rather funny. Other than that, we have a really screamy, yet UNDERSTANDABLE chorus (in English). This one's likely to please any average Diru fan.
A really angry song, all in English... really bad English. I think it's fun to listen to, but I wouldn't recommend it to people who don't like screaming in their music. >=P
I got all of Malice Mizer's #1 album merveilles up. They're listed on here in the opposite order of the way you'll find them on the actual CD, sorry. I left the first song off because it's just a bunch of random sound-effects Mana put together to set up the album's mood.. if you really want it, though, just email me at nidome_no_aitou@yahoo.com. The album lasts through this song, 'bois de merveilles,' down to 'Syunikiss.'
A very silly, doll-like (note the costumes), almost carnivalish tune...
I think that most people would find it very catchy, or very annoying.
The really weeny song that got Mana pissed at Gackt. It features elaborate, white costumes with feathers, and lots of mushy, fluffy lyrics.
Written by Mana, so the music is awesome, but Gackt wrote the lyrics--in English. Then Gackt attempted to sing the lyrics--in English... which turned out pretty bad. The song overall turned out very well, though. It's different from the rest of the album and includes a lot of really heavy drumming and techno kinda' stuff. Gackt's voice is digitally altered to sound a little robotic...
Written by Kozi, Je te veux features a poppy, catchy chorus laced with a busy, repetitive synthesizer melody. The dance these guys did for this song in concert is PRICELESS. Go to YouTube and search it up. Now.
This song is really fun to listen to, but is also a little slow at first. If it bores you in the beginning, just fast-forward--the middle and the end of this are too good to miss~
Really calm, and kind of sad-sounding... this is a good one to just mellow out to. o_O
Corny/poppy-sounding lyrics and lots of carnival organs!! Woohoo!! This is kinda' like Gekka no Yasoukyoku... it's either catchy, or just annoying. Mana's guitar solo in the middle is one of my favorites. It doesn't really fit in with the song, however, because it's really distorted.
Starts out with Gackt whispering all sorts of naughty stuff and moves into some whips and synthesizer... a real kinky song... >_> But a Malice Mizer classic--highly recommended.
WOW
This song is just wow. The chorus is wow, the guitar/music-box-melody-thing is wow, IT'S ALL WOW. Listen to it now!
This has to be one of the best works ever put out by this band. It was the only song ever composed/written by their bassist, Yu~ki. It starts out with a violin duet, moves into a catchy little intro thing sung by Gackt, and then BREAKS OUT INTO THIS HUGE ORCHESTRAL FEATURE!! ...and then it quiets down again!! It goes back and forth a lot--and is very interesting to listen to. I'd put this right above Bel Air, the WOW song, on my list of Malice Mizer favorites. =P
